Duddo Five Stones

A Neolithic/Early Bronze Age stone circle in North Northumberland, approximately 4 miles south of the Scottish border. Originally seven stones, now five, standing on a slight rise with panoramic views of the Cheviot Hills to the south and the Lammermuir Hills to the north. The stones are formed of local soft pink Doddington sandstone, deeply fissured by centuries of weathering.
